Now we are witnessing the outbreak of new warfare. Instead of learning from history, we are confronted with the reality of what is happening right now. Sophia University strongly opposes this tragic conflict and urges an immediate cessation of fighting and ensuring safety for everyone.

We have experienced two world wars and many conflicts breaking out in the various parts of the world. The fact that we fail to learn from these experiences and still cannot ensure the dignity of humans is an indication of the immaturity of our society.

The spirit of Sophia University can be found in these words. Sophia University is with all who seek peace and who cannot have peaceful days. We sincerely hope that all those facing suffering days will soon be able to enjoy a life of peace, share time with family and friends, pursue their dreams, and be with others.
