To all Students,

COVID-19 continues to spread to many countries around the world, we would like to notify you of precautions to take during the spring break.

1. Overseas Travel

The number of cases of COVID-19 in the Republic of Korea, Italy, and Iran has rapidly increased. As a precaution do not travel to countries that are rated Infectious Diseases Danger Level 2 or higher by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
The situation in other countries may also worsen and we ask that you stay up to date with the latest information regarding COVID-19. In addition, please postpone any non-essential travel plans to other countries.

2. Self-Health Management

Everyone in Japan is at risk of infection. In particular, COVID-19 has a long incubation period and can be spread unexpectedly. Reduce your chance of exposure by avoiding crowds and densely populated closed spaces such as live houses, night clubs and fitness gyms.

Even if you do not have any symptoms, if you have been in a facility during the same period where an infection has been confirmed, if there is a risk of contact with an infected person, or if you have recently returned from a country with a large number of infected people, please use the “Self-Health Management Form(84.15 KB)” to check your condition and avoid going out for at least 14 days. If you have any questions or concerns please do not come to the campus in person, call the offices in charge (see Office Directory(504.76 KB)).
