One of the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus approved by the Pope,“Walking with the poor, the people excluded from the world, the people whose human dignity is violated”, based on such philosophy, our goal is to clarify the issues for those people experiencing inequity and disseminate solutions to those issues to the world. This aim is consistent with the basis of the SDGs “No one left behind” adopted by the United Nations. This research institute is co-operated with Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd., to be a new type of industry-academia collaboration striving for social implementation based on the results of our joint effort.
