Newly Established “Sophia Archives” and Publishing of Sophia Archives Booklet

Sophia School Corporation newly established “Sophia Archives” upon an existing office being reorganized.

With an aim for further development of our school corporation, this is to promote enrichment of our archives with an organizational reform as well as enhancement of its studies at our institution and schools in order to reach understanding and also to permeate Catholic and Jesuit education, in which included as one of action plan in Grand Layout 2.1 (2019-2023), our corporation’s long-range planning.

With our aim, focusing on finding and sustaining valuable archive resources of Sophia University among the rest of schools managed by Sophia School Corporation, Sophia Junior College Division, Sophia School of Social Welfare and four middle/high schools, in order to effectively utilize those resources for our education and researches, we will put our utmost effort as in sharing those resources at exhibitions or advancing their digitalization.
