“Sophia University United Nations Weeks June 2025” will be held from October 6 to 30.

To consider our future through U.N Activities
Sophia University UN Weeks, launched in 2014 under the concept “Considering the world and our future through the UN Activities,” marks its 24th interaction. Our events are organized in several ways such as a high-flex format, both in-person and online, to reach out to a wider audience. This year’s lineup features inspiring speakers from around the world, sharing insights on topics such as peacebuilding in the Middle East and mental health support for young people affected by conflict or natural disasters. One of the highlights will be a special symposium with the Commissioner-General of the UN Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, looking back on 80 years of the UN’s work and its impact on the world.
We warmly welcome not only high school and university students, but also working professionals and anyone interested in global issues. Whether you’re joining us in person or online, we hope you’ll find something that sparks your curiosity and encourages you to think deeply about the world we live in.
