Dear Students,

As posted on this website on September 13, classes will be given mainly in person as of Friday,
November 5. We will resume classes in the format specified in the syllabus at the beginning of the Autumn Semester.

From November, given widespread vaccination, we will basically continue to give classes in person through the end of the semester regardless of developments in the nu mber of infections in Tokyo or any announcements of a state of emergency.

Students who wish to attend their classes online beyond Friday, November 5 through the end of the semester for reasons including health conditions of family members or difficulties in coming to Japan, should submit a request through the Loyola questionnaire. Details will be posted on the Loyola bulletin on Friday, October 15.
