Under the circumstances impacted by COVID-19, Sophia University has continued to provide its online-courses for students. Considering the additional cost for students to ensure the learning environment at home, we have offered services such as free rentals of Wi-Fi routers or laptop PCs, and financial support for printing costs. However, these services were limited to the students in Japan, and the students outside of Japan did not have access to these services. In light of this situation, we will offer the “Sophia University Assistance Grant for Overseas Students” exclusively for students who have or are currently taking online-courses from outside of Japan. Eligible students must complete their application process by the deadline.


Sophia University Assistance Grant for Overseas Students (open to both Japanese and foreign nationals)

• Application Period: From Monday, November 16th to Monday, November 30th
