Tomohiro Hamasaki of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, has won an award at the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan

Tomohiro Hamasaki, a second-year master’s student in Applied Chemistry, has won the ‘2025 Graduate School Research Award’ award at the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan.

This award was established with the aim of contributing to the improvement and development of graduate students’ academic studies, and recognizes graduate students who are expected to graduate and have conducted outstanding research in automotive-related technological fields.

Tomohiro Hamasaki shared the following remarks upon receiving the award:
I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious award as the culmination of my graduate research. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my professors and everyone in the research lab for their guidance. From April, I will take a new step forward as an automotive development engineer. I will continue to work diligently, utilizing the research experience I have cultivated at university, so that I can bring joy and happiness to people through the products I work on.
