Introduction to Canadian Culture and Society II
|
○講義概要 |
This course is the latter of a two-part course that provides an introduction to Canadian society. Following the brief overview given in the first part of the course, this course aims to look closer at the issues which were taken up in the first semester. Specifically, students will be working on a provincial analysis, presenting social, political, and economical issues of each province/territory.
Lectures will be conducted primarily in English. While the use of English is strongly encouraged, reaction papers and final paper may be written and submitted in Japanese. In-class discussions and presentations should be done in English.
