| ○講義概要 |
In this seminar students will be required to conduct their own research into topics that interest them within the field of sociolinguistics. Building upon their extensive reading, students will be required to collect their own data, present it to the class and prepare a research paper summarizing their findings. This class will be limited to 20 students and priority will be given to students who have already taken classes in sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, intercultural communication and/ or language and society.

Students must attend at least 80% of classes to pass this course.
