○講義概要
This course is designed to explore the key factors important to successful intercultural communication, intracultural communication, interpersonal communication, and intrapersonal communication.
Verbal and nonverbal variables are examined. Several themes which reflect cultural values are selected for research and class discussions.
Topics such as comparison of advertising, lyrics in popular music, body language, sense of humor, intercultural interviewing, and intercultural business negotiations will be explored.
Students are expected to prepare for oral and written presentations and class discussions in English every week.
The class is limited to those who aspire to become genuinely effective/affective intercultural/interpersonal communicators with integrity.
Your abilities to practice what you have learned about communication shall be constantly tested.

出席状況(20%)、授業参画(20%)、レポート(25%)、後期学期末試験(定期試験期間中)(35%)
出席重視。英語によるプレゼンテーション・ディスカッションへの積極的参加、ゼミ論、学期末試験により総合的に評価。
