| ○講義概要 |
In this course we will explore ways in which language plays a part in intercultural communication. Through the analysis of samples of "real" English discourse we will deal with issues relating to stereotyping, gender, business and generational discourse. Students will be required to read up to 20 pages per week for homework and to participate actively in class discussions. They will also be required to collect their own data and a conduct a short research project.This class will be limited to 45 students who have already passed 異文化交渉と英語I.
