| ○講義概要 |
The purpose of this course is to expand and deepen your understanding of English language teaching as a practical and humanistic profession and for you to get some simulated practice in teaching English as an international language. I assume that you have already learned a lot of theories about language teaching. So, the focus of this course will be on putting these ideas into practice. We will try to achieve this aim not so much through lectures but through out-of-class reading and preparation, and in-class teaching demonstrations and ensuing feedback sessions and discussion. I hope that through this course you will learn to make your class interesting, motivating, stimulating, and educationally rewarding both for your students and for yourself as a teacher.
