This class will consider the flux in gender norms throughout Japan's history by looking at examples of women from ancient to contemporary times. While it is not mandatory to have taken an Introduction to Gender Studies I, having done so will provide you with a strong basis for the class. Reading intensive.

出席状況(5%)、授業参画(15%)、リアクションペーパー(15%)、後期学期末試験(定期試験期間中)(25%)、小テスト等(20%)
Discussion Leader Role (20%)
Late homework will lose one letter grade for every day it is late. Missing more than 4 classes will result in automatic failure of the class.
