6-1 Trend in number of Library collections
The graph shows the shift in number of books collected in the Central Library, Law School Library, Mejiro-Seibo Campus Library (since Academic Year 2011). Following the merger of Sophia University and Seibo College in Academic Year 2011, library collection increased considerably but the number fell slightly the next year due to removal. Compared with other university libraries, a distinctive feature is the large number of books written in foreign languages. Sophia University

6-2 Number of books in circulation
The total number of books in Libraries collection is on the increase, whereas the actual number of books in circulation reached a maximum in Academic Year 2009 and was on the decrease, but showed slightly upward trend in Academic Year 2014.
