○講義概要

InthisclasswewillexamineindepththeproblemofracialdiscriminationintheUnitedStates.WewillbeginwithadiscussionofraceandethnicityandthenlookatninedifferentapproachestotheproblemofdiscriminationastheyapplytodiscriminationagainstAfro-Americans.Wewillalsolookattheshortcomingsofeachoftheseapproachesandtheinfluencetheyhadonpoliciesdealingwiththeproblem.THISCLASSISLIMITEDTOFIFTYPEOPLE.ONLYPEOPLEATTNDINGTHEFIRSTCLASSWILLBEPERMITTEDTOREGISTER.Studentswishingtotakethisclassshouldhavealreadycompletedアメリカ社会研究入門IandII
