○講義概要
In this course we will look at the many issues surrounding the bilingual and bicultural person. After reviewing the basic concept of what a bilingual is, we will look at some of the following issues: bilingualism and intelligence, bilingualism and cognitive functioning, bilingualism and language, bilingualism and attitude, bilingualism and identity, as well as the problems of Japanese returnees and foreign children living in Japan.
