| ○講義概要 |
This course is an introduction to the systematic study of the most widely used language of the world, English. The primary goal of the course is to bring you to reflect critically on the English language which is usually taken for granted by its native speakers, but which poses great challenges to those who try to learn it as a second/foreign language. We will focus on the following aspects of the language this semester: phonetics, phonology, morphology, and syntax.
