| ○講義概要 |
The purpose of this course is to familiarize you to English reading on the topics of second language acquisition and instruction. Taking reading as an active mental activity; we will aim at three goals in this course: (1) to learn about the subject matter in English; (2) to develop critical thinking skills on the given topics; and (3) to practice self-expressive skills in English. Using the class reading as the basis, we will try to relate the reading materials to your own language learning situations through whole-class and small-group discussions, with the ultimate aim of gaining insights for language teaching.

Besides the main textbook, other materials pertaining to SLA, education, and other social topics of interest will be read.
