| ○講義概要 |
This course will emphasise spoken English and ways to utilise it to communicate meaning. As such there will be little written English in the duration of the course. The emphasis will always be on spoken English. Sample activities covered in the first half of the course will be giving directions, explanations, storytelling etc. When the student's confidence and abilities have improved they will then give a series of 6 minute oral presentations on a variety of topics which will be marked and account for 80% of the course grade. The other 20% will be split evenly between attendance and classwork but a minimum of 80% attendance of all classes is required as less than this will result in a fail grade. All materials will be supplied by the teacher so no books are necessary.

Attendance of at least 80% of the classes is mandatory, less than this will result in a fail grade being given. final grades will be based on the student's performances in the presentations section.

| 1 | Introductions, class rules, outline of course for the year, explanation of grading system indepth. The pace of the course will be dependent on the levels of the students and a more thorough course outline will be given during the course. |
