| ○講義概要 |
This course covers the history of Japanese art from the early Neolithic to the end of the Edo Period. Sculpture and painting are emphasized. Focusing on key works, the course will present major trends and developments in Japanese art. The lectures will treat stylistic and technical developments, foreign influences, and the social and historical contexts in which the various forms and styles of art developed.
