◆TEACHING METHODS AND SOCIOLINGUISTICS - (後)
SHIMIZU TAKAFUMI
○講義概要
In studying language learners' acquisition of communicative competence in the target language, the socio-pragmatic aspect of language should be taken into consideration. The course is designed to discuss this relatively new theme in language education. The first half of the course is a survey of sociolinguistics and pragmatics. The second half is devoted to application of the theories and research findings in these fields to Japanese language instruction. Prerequisite: JPN 322 or JPN 343.
