| ○講義概要 |
An advanced study of Japanese linguistics. The course will cover phonology, morphology, and syntax. A short introduction to the recent theory of linguistics, followed by discussions of topics of Japanese linguistics. The topics will be: Japanese Accent, Rendaku, Compensatory Lengthning, Verbal Conjugations, Case Marking, Passives and Causatives. The main goal of the course is to write a final paper in one of the three components of Japanese linguistics above.
