◆SACRED SPACE AND TIME - (後)

○講義概要
This course will focus on how cities serve to define and embody notions of sacred space and time as well as the dynamics of center and periphery. Particulr attention will be given to Koto and Edo/Kyoto but examples of sacred cities from through the world will also be discussed. Extensive use of texts of the Noh theater will be made to illustrate the issues and patterns discussed in the course.
○評価方法
授業参画(10%)、リアクションペーパー(30%)、レポート(60%)
Attendance is required. Failure to attend classes will result in a reduction of the grade for the course. By "reports" is meant the final paper for the course.
