○講義概要 |
In this course the student will be introduced to the Mysticism of ancient India, and in particular the mystical thought that characterized the minority religions of the nation, such as Buddhism, Jainism, Judaism, Zorastrianism, Sikhism, Christianity, and Islam. Efforts will be made to investigate the process of mystical development, religious consciousness, religious language, myths and legends, and the dialectic of opposites, besides others.

Grades will be decided on the basis of several factors such as attendance at lectures, participation, behavior of the student in the classroom, and the examination that will be conducted at the close of the course.
