Following English Linguistics 1, this course provides a general survey in the studies of English linguistics. This semester we will focus, in particular, on issues of sociolinguistics, neurolinguistics, psycholinguistics, first language acquisition, and second language acquisition.
The course grade will be based on your class attendance, participation, and your performance on the midterm and final exams.
