This class will cover selected short fiction by North American women writers since 1970. Each week we'll discuss a different author, assisted by student presentations and prompted by posts on the class web page. Before each class, please read the story carefully, check the web site, and come prepared with questions and observations.

Attendance is required. Grades will be based on participation, quizzes, homework, and a final essay.
