◆英米文学 - (通)
YAMAMOTO-WILSON JOHN
○講義概要
This is not an introduction to the history of British and American literature. The purpose is to enjoy literature ourselves and, as teachers, to try to to foster a love of literature in students. We will take many examples of actual literary texts and study the practice, rather than the theory, of literary appreciation. We will study short stories and poems and at least one full-length novel in conjunction with a video. We will also study how to write appropriate reaction papers and reports.
