| ○講義概要 |
Students will read a 社説 from a Japanese newspaper. They will then either cut out the 社説 or photocopy it and staple it to a one page opinion paper that they will write in response to the 社説. They will bring their response paper to class. We will sit in a circle and then everyone will give an oral presentation about the 社説 that they have read. There will be a question and answer period after each person gives his or her presentation.
Roll will be taken at the beginning of each class. Students will be required to attend. More than five unexcused absences throughout the year will constitute an automatic fail. If you miss five assignments throughout the year, you will fail and you will be asked to stop attending. Grades will be based on written responses and oral presentations.
