| ○講義概要 |
This is a course for students who want to learn TOEIC and TOEFL reading skills and enjoy reading popular stories.In first semester you will learn how to find the meanings of words without a dictionary, to skim for details, to scan for main ideas,to understand the writers' opinions and hidden messages in short passages from an Intermediate TOEIC Reading text book.In second semester you will enjoy reading an Intermediate level story, "About A Boy" and watch the movie,(in English with Japanese sub-titles) with Hugh Grant.

出席状況(10%)、授業参画(10%)、前期学期末試験(授業期間中)(40%)、後期学期末試験(授業期間中)(40%)
There will be a reading test at the end of each semester. Attendance is very important and will affect your overall grade regardless of your performance in the reading tests.
