| ○講義概要 |
This course is designed to help students improve their speaking and listening skills through various activities. Since we meet twice a week, one class will focus on the listening exercises using video taped news programs, taped conversations, and various kinds of listening materials. Repeating and shadowing exercises will also be conducted to improve students' listening abilities. The other class will be given over to speaking activities such as pair work, role plays, small group discussions, and presentations. Students will be expected to participate and cooperate in all activities both individually and in a group.

| ○評価方法 |
Evaluation will be based on regular attendance, class participation, oral presentations, writing assignments, and final examinations.
