○講義概要
D. ホール編集のアンソロジーを用いてニューイングランド・ピューリタンに関する第一次資料を講読する。さらに大西洋世界の交流史、植民地建設、奴隷貿易、インディアン、カリブ海、クレオール等のテーマについて、A. テイラーの研究書を手がかりに、より広い歴史社会コンテクストについて学び、初期アメリカのピューリタン運動を再考する。
