○講義概要
"In this class I will speak in simple English about the special vocabulary needed for mathematics, general science and chemistry. Students will memorize and present some of the dialogs in the textbooks. The English used in hospitals will receive special attention. Each student will read three articles from news magazines written in English and will write a summary and some reflections. An oral presentation in English will conclude the class.
○評価方法
出席状況(30%)、授業参画(30%)、レポート(40%)
Class participation includes presented memorized dialogs.
Students who regularly come late will be penalized.

These textbooks contain very good Japanese explanations.
I will speak about them in English.

1During this course, each student will have to read three newspaper articles about science in English. At the end of each month a written report will be handed in as homework.
