Academic and Professional Writing

○講義概要

This course will allow students to further develop their writing skills and advance them into more complex structures for both academic and professional purposes. Theories of Systemic Functional Linguistics will be applied in order to better understand English use through meaning and to build appropriate language structures. All students will keep an academic learning journal and will submit portfolios containing all drafts and writing practices.

1st-semester research paper 10%
2nd-semester research paper 20%
