| ○講義概要 |
This course will work on improving the student's English abilities in the spoken area. As such there will be little written English in the duration of the course but any written or grammatical errors will be covered as and when they occur. The emphasis will be on spoken English however. Student's will start with pronunciation activities, then such things as directions, explanations, storytelling etc will be covered. In the second half of the course they will then give a series of 6 minute oral presentations and debates on a variety of topics which will be marked and account for 80% of the course grade. The other 20% will be split evenly between attendance and classwork but a minimum of 80% attendance of all classes is required as less than this will result in a fail grade. All materials will be supplied by the teacher so no books are necessary.

Attendance of at least 75% of the classes is mandatory, less than this will result in a fail grade being given. Final grades will be based on the student's performances in the debates and presentation sections, which will account for 80% of the grade.

| 1 | Introductions, class rules, outline of course for the year, explanation of grading system in-depth. The pace of the course will be dependent on the levels of the students and a more thorough course outline will be given during the course. |
