Peace and Conflict Studies : Focus on Meaning

| ○講義概要 |
In this course, students will read and discuss current issues in peace and conflict. They will be expected to keep informed of current affairs.
In first semester, students will practice summarising, paraphrasing, notetaking, oral presentation anad writing skills. They will keep a diary each week about what they have learned.
In second semester, students will research one topic of their choice within the theme of peace and conflict and present this to the class. As listeners, students will keep a list of topics presented and write reactions to any three presentations given by other students.
