○科目サブタイトル
A course for advanced academic writing and presentations
○講義概要
This course is designed for students with (near-)native English proficiency, who wish to improve their skills in writing academic essays and making presentations. Students will learn how to compose good paragraphs and organize analytical and argumentative papers. They will have opportunities to make oral presentations based on their essays. The performances in essays and presentations will be analyzed and evaluated by peers and the instructor. Proof of a score increase in TOEFL-TWE (or any other internationally recognized writing test) will be considered as extra points in the total evaluation. Attendance and participation are above all important. 85% or more attendance regulation will be strictly observed. Summer homework will be given.
