| ○講義概要 |
This course will emphasize the interrelation of reading, critical thinking, and writing. We will focus on the skills and strategies of intermediate-level writing and learn how to use language effectively to create meaningful essays. Students will be expected to do regular reading and writing assignments and be prepared to share their ideas in group discussions. Students will be expected to speak only English in this course and be active in all class discussions.

Evaluation will be based on regular attendance, active class participation, homework assignments, journal, and papers. There will be no formal examination.
