○講義概要

This is a course for students who can already survive in an English-speaking environment, but need further practice and study in order to be able to become truly fluent. In this class, students will:
1) learn how to express their feelings and opinions and communicate well in most informal situations.
2) listen to and understand a popular television programme.
3) Improve listening and reading skills by listening to recorded conversations and certain internet sites at their own speed.
One lesson per week will be in the CALL room. In the first half of the lesson, the class will work together, with a popular television program. In the second half of the lesson, individual students can practise listening at their own pace, first with supplied materials, and then with websites for English language learning.
On the other day, activities will be group based, with students discussing and expressing opinions on topical issues. Students are expected to do an hour of homework each work, and there will be regular tests.

○授業計画

1	In one lesson per week, there will be a different discussion topic each week. In the CALL room, we will look at two or three scenes of the tv. programme each week. Listening work will be at the pace of the individual student.
