| ○講義概要 |
The purpose of this class is to give you the opportunity to improve and develop your oral/aural skills so you can communicate your ideas more effectively in English. The course will consist of discussions based on topics from the textbook and from handouts provided by the teacher, so students will be expected to do reading homework before each class in order to prepare for the discussions. Towards the end of the course, students will choose topics and lead discussions on their own and will do a final speaking course based on the topic they have chosen.
Classes will be conducted entirely in English and students will be expected to participate in English on a daily basis.
Attendance is essential. Less than 85% attendance will result in failure regardless of the reason for the absence.
