○講義概要
Religion and the arts have been deeply related throughout human history. This course will focus on the relation of religion and music and address the following questions: What is religion? What is music? How has music formed an intrinsic part of religious practice? How has music been used to imagine the nature of the cosmos and human existence?
○評価方法
授業参画(10%)、リアクションペーパー(20%)、レポート(50%)、中間試験(20%)
Attendance is required. Failure to attend classes will result in a reduction of the grade for the course. By "reports" is meant the final paper for the course.
