○講義概要 |
This course is designed to introduce students to religion as an academic field of study. While it is not to provide a general survey of major religions in the world, it will introduce various themes (e.g., sacred space and time, myth and ritual) as well as important issues (e.g., theodicy and soteriology) by examining specific religious traditions in the world. The aim of this course is to enable students to have more empathetic as well as critical understanding of what we call "religion."
