Chinese Painting from the Tang to the Qing Period
○講義概要
The course is an introduction to the history of Chinese painting from the Tang to the Qing period (ninth to the nineteenth century). Painting styles of previous periods were always referred to in creating new art. The course introduces historical elements in the styles of Chinese painting from each period covered and expalin how artists employed knowledge of art history in making their art.
