K.Okimoto
○講義概要
In this course, we will explore some contemporary short films, and examine the literary theories (e.g. themes, structure, characterization), and cinematic techniques (e.g. editing, crosscutting, montage), which go into creating them. Discussion in English is a major part of the course. Students from other departments may take this course provided they have the ability to discuss cinematic theories in English. Projects will include the writing, filming, editing of an original short film. Computer knowledge of graphics-editing software would be beneficial but not necessary.
