| ○講義概要 |
This course is designed to explore the key factors important to successful intercultural communication, intracultural communication, interpersonal communication, and intrapersonal communication. Verbal and nonverbal variables are examined. Several themes which reflect cultural values are selected for research and class discussions. Topics such as comparison of advertising, lyrics in popular music, body language, sense of humor, and intercultural interviewing will be taken up. Students are expected to prepare for an oral and written presentation and a class discussion in English every week. The class is limited to those who aspire to become effective/affective intercultural/interpersonal communicators.

出席重視。英語によるプレゼンテーション・ディスカッションへの積極的参加、ゼミ論、学期末試験（授業期間中）により総合的に評価。
