Introduction to British and American Culture

| ○講義概要 |
In this class, in the first term we will learn about British society by watching and discussing British films, and in the second term we will do the same with American movies. We will focus on selected topics that are represented in the films and analyze social change in both societies. Topics will include youth culture, race and multiculturalism, love, sex and marriage and the changing roles of women in society. The class will be interactive and student-centered and regular attendance is a requirement.
