| ○講義概要 |
Although the films will have Japanese sub-titles, this course is for students who have good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and enjoy watching films. You will study in depth, two Australian films each semester and be expected to write answers to questions, particpate in class and small group discussions and debates. You will also learn about Australian film stars, directors, cultural values, vocabulary and idioms from these films. You will practise study skills such as scanning, note-taking, paraphrasing and summarising while reading and researching. There is no test in this course but you will be expected to give a short presentation and write a short research report.

出席状況(10%)、授業参画(20%)、リアクションペーパー(20%)、レポート(30%)
In first semester students will give a short class presentation worth 20%.

| 1 | Topics will be explained in first class. The first film to be studied will be Moulin Rouge. |
