○講義概要

This level is for students who are able to understand English spoken slowly, ask and understand simple questions, talk about themselves and their daily lives in simple sentences, and are able to read and write about these topics in simple sentences. The purpose of the course is to raise the students' level so that they will be able to understand and speak English in some social situations such as at a restaurant, post office, travel agency, etc., as well as at informal parties. It will also raise the students' reading and writing ability so that they will be able to read and understand a variety of texts and write briefly on a variety of topics beyond those related directly with their daily lives. The classes will all be conducted in English.
ゆっくり話された英語を理解し、簡単な質問をしたり理解でき、自分や日常生活について簡単な表現で話すことができ、簡単な文でこのような話題について読み書きできる学生のためのクラスである。このクラスはレストランや郵便局、旅行会社、パーティーなどでの会話を理解したり話したりできる能力を高めることを目指す。又、読み書き能力の向上も目指し、更に多くのテキストを読み理解し、日常生活を超えた様々な話題についても簡単に書くことも合わせて学ぶ。授業は英語で行われる。

○評価方法

出席状況(10%)、授業参画(10%)、リアクションペーパー(10%)、前期学期末試験(授業期間中)(25%)、後期学期末試験(授業期間中)(25%)、小テスト等(20%)
In addition to final exams (at the end of each semester), there will be listening comprehension tests as well (20%). Those who are absent more than 8 times will fail. The number of absences will reflect on your attendance score.
