○講義概要
The purpose of this course is to deepen your understanding of issues in Instructed Second Language Acquisition (SLA) through some class lecture, student presentations, and class discussion. We will focus in particular on various issues of what is known as a focus on form approach to second language instruction. Students are expected to have taken (or be taking concurrently) an SLA course, or otherwise have some basic knowledge of SLA to take this course.
The final course grade will be determined on the basis of class attendance, participation, oral presentations, and the final research paper.
