| ○講義概要 |
Classes will begin with a variety of short readings (editorials, short stories, poems, etc.), less than a page in length, which students will have to read quickly. I will then give a very brief lecture on the reading. Students will then put the reading away and meet in small groups to discuss their understanding of the reading and lecture. We will then meet together as a class to discuss and debate reactions to the readings. There will be short reading and writing homework.

授業参画(50%)、リアクションペーパー(50%)
Attendance is mandatory. Grades are based upon (1) active participation and (2) the quality of all written work assigned.

Photocopies will be provided. There is no textbook.
